Established in 2001 by Gill Gledhill, GGHQ Fashion Intelligence was created to offer best-practice insight, market analysis and communication strategies for international organisations that want to connect with decision makers in fashion, interiors and textiles.

Today, the GGHQ team and our long-time collaborators offer a full range of skills from digital marketing know-how to sustainable sourcing expertise.

About GGHQ

 

Gill Gledhill, Founder and Director

Gill brings over 25 years’ experience as a consultant and journalist/editor of fashion business magazines to GGHQ.

Anglo-American Gill has spent most of her life on the move between London and the East Coast of the US. Alma mater Chelsea College of Art remains close to her heart, as does Central St Martins, where she studied textile design, specialising in weave.

Keen to write, Gill completed the post-graduate journalism course at the London College of Communication and connected her design practice and understanding of the fashion market with journalistic know-how, writing for industry titles Fashion Weekly and Drapers Record. Gill joined publisher Emap on its jewellery and watch titles, she went on to manage the editorial team and head the successful relaunch of Retail Jeweller before returning to the world of clothing and textiles joining Drapers Record. She edited Fashionfromspain.com for a decade.

in 2001 Gill established GGHQ as a marketing and communications agency for the fashion industry. She has worked as a consultant to commercial offices of overseas governments including Spain and Australia. And she’s in demand as a presenter and informed commentator on sustainable sourcing and the inside of the fashion market.

Out of the office, Gill is happiest on a plane on the way to see family, on pair of skis in winter, or messing about in boats in summer.

Sourcing and production consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel and fashion industry. Skilled in Sourcing, Production Management, and Textiles.
